On Koh Samui's predominantly clear days, the panorama from Lad Koh Viewpoint is nothing short of breathtaking. The view encompasses the island itself, the tropical shoreline, the glistening sea, and the radiant sky. Stretching as far as the eye can see, it encompasses the entire Chaweng beach area and extends across the surrounding beaches and hills. For the best experience, it is recommended to visit in the morning. By rising early, you'll witness the magnificent sunrise while the rest of the island is still tucked in bed.
As a photographer, I suggest you visit and take pictures of this stony beach in the morning. Until about 2-3pm, this place still gets sunlight, making all the rocks and water look amazing. After that time, this side goes into the shade due to the mountains. It's still a good view, but for pictures, there will be too much contrast between people in the shade and the sea view in the background.
