Location for shooting: Baan Taling Ngam Beach

Date of publication: 05 Aug 2017

Baan Taling Ngam. Peaceful, quiet coast beach.

Taling Ngam is famous for being very pretty, and especially tranquil. The never-ending fringe of coconut palms makes it quite pretty, beach is narrow and the water is shallow the whole way. An offshore reef follows the coast about 100 meters out, creating shallow sand flats that have little water at low tide, and dry out completely during the spring tides every 14 days. There is rarely enough water for swimming, and when there is one has to find a patch of beach without rocks and dead coral along the bottom.
