Weddings Kimberley & Cory Destination Wedding on the beach January 14th, 2025
Kimberley and Cory's wedding day began with the ocean close by, bright skies overhead, and their favourite people already bringing energy to the celebration.
The ceremony space was prepared with soft fabric, white flowers, and an open view towards the water. Everything felt light, elegant, and connected to the setting.
While the day was getting started outside, Kimberley spent time getting ready with her bridesmaids. There were laughs, quiet conversations, and the kind of excitement that builds naturally before the ceremony.
Her friends helped with the final details, from the dress to the bouquet. These small moments are often some of the most personal photographs of the day.
Kimberley looked beautiful in her wedding dress, surrounded by people who clearly cared about her. The warm colours, flowers, and relaxed atmosphere made the preparations feel easy rather than formal.
At the same time, Cory was getting ready with his groomsmen. There was plenty of laughter, a few final adjustments, and time to enjoy being together before the ceremony began.
The men’s portraits had a completely different energy: calm, playful, and full of friendship. These photographs show another side of the wedding day, before everyone came together.
As guests arrived, the ceremony space slowly filled with conversation and anticipation. The garden, flowers, and sea view created a beautiful setting without taking attention away from the people.
Cory waited for Kimberley with the ceremony about to begin. The mood changed from relaxed preparation to real anticipation in just a few minutes.
Then Kimberley arrived. Walking towards Cory, surrounded by their friends and family, she brought all the emotion of the day into one moment.
The ceremony was open, bright, and full of warmth. Kimberley and Cory stood together beneath the floral arch, with the ocean and sky behind them.
They exchanged vows, rings, and a few quiet looks that said more than any formal pose could. Their guests were close enough to share every smile and every emotional reaction.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved straight into hugs, congratulations, and happy conversations. The couple could finally relax and enjoy being married.
We also made time for portraits of Kimberley and Cory together. The soft colours of the day, the water, and the open views gave their photographs a calm, romantic mood.
The wedding party joined them for photographs too. Everyone looked great together, but the best frames came from the jokes, movement, and easy friendship between them.
Kimberley and Cory’s portraits were not about complicated posing. We walked, talked, and used the garden and ocean views while they simply enjoyed a few minutes together.
Later, we photographed the family groups. These are the images that become more valuable with time: parents, siblings, friends, and all the people who travelled to be part of the day.
There were also quieter moments away from the main celebration. A walk through the garden, a pause by the water, and a chance for the couple to take in everything that had just happened.
The guests brought the same joyful energy into the rest of the afternoon. There were conversations, drinks, laughter, and many small interactions that made the day feel personal.
Kimberley and Cory did not need to perform for the camera. They were surrounded by people they loved, and that made every part of the celebration feel natural.
The final photographs used the villa’s garden, trees, and water features to create a softer, more intimate ending to the story. It was a beautiful contrast to the open ceremony by the sea.
As a Wedding Photographer Lisbon, I photograph the full rhythm of a wedding day: the preparations, the people, the ceremony, and the moments in between that couples may not even notice at the time.
That's it, the photos are over... The End :)
