Events CARB-X Product Developer Conference 2026, Lisbon

The format set the task. The day opened and closed with plenary sessions in the Mediterranean Room, the only room with a stage. In between, three breakout sessions ran at the same time in the Mediterranean, Los Angeles and Casablanca rooms. With one photographer for three rooms, I planned the rotation around the agenda in advance, so that every group and every speaker was covered. At 7:30, before the first session, the CARB-X team walked me through the rooms and pointed out the people they needed photographed.

Between the sessions the focus moved to people: coffee breaks, lunch and the conversations between attendees. These are usually the photos a team uses most after the event. No flash during the talks, so nothing distracted the speakers or the audience.

The full gallery was delivered 3 days after the conference, ahead of the 5 days we had agreed.
