This is our first time doing a photo shoot and it was clear we do not know what to expect or what to do. However when you have a photographer who can put your at ease with his jokes, direct you and tell you what you need to do, give advises and input without sounding condescending or pushy, then clearly you have a winner here and his name is Dimas. From the beginning to the end, Dimas brought us to many different and beautiful locations and we were not only amazed by the view, but we are also amazed by how well he managed to bring all the shots to life. We were waiting anxiously for the pictures and he did not disappoint. We are so happy over it! If you are looking for photoshoots, be it, pre-wedding, wedding or personal, etc. he's THE MAN you should go to! -

Dimas is a professional! He knows the proposed locations like the back of his hand. With him, you don't have to worry about anything: he directs himself, gives advice – that's what experience means! We had a lot of fun having our pictures taken by Dimas. He took us to three different locations, each beautiful and unique in its own way. Even though one of the beach was quite crowded, the pictures still come out like we are in our own little paradise. The price he charges is very reasonable, considering he only charges for the photoshoot and not the transit. Would definitely recommend that you contact him to get some gorgeous pictures! -
I chose a photographer for the love story well in advance, reviewed many portfolios (including Dima's portfolio – one of the first), but still did not find a single photographer who could convey the special atmosphere of the Thai tropics and paradise island as naturally, effortlessly, brightly, and colorfully. My husband and I have been to the islands of the Gulf of Siam many times, including Samui, but Dima managed to surprise us and showed us the most beautiful location – Taling Ngam Beach, where the photoshoot took place. It was our first photo shoot in life, we were very shy (since we are introverts in life and do not like to pose and attract attention) – but Dima was able to cheer us up, relax us, and ultimately create an atmosphere of ease and adventure that all embarrassment and tension disappeared as if by magic. The photos turned out very vivid, natural, sincere, and kind, without pretentious pathos and unnatural poses (I admit, I was most afraid of this when I thought about the upcoming photoshoot, as I cannot stand falseness and posing). The processing in natural tones allows you to truly immerse yourself in memories of that day and say "Yes, that's how it was!", while Dima thoughtfully and very skillfully corrected any flaws in appearance, for which I thank him separately as a person who does not like to be photographed and how he usually turns out in photos. Result: a truly memorable photoshoot, beautiful photos, and an excellent professional photographer who knows how to find an approach to you and make sure you will like the result. Julia and I would thoroughly recommend Dimas to any couple wanting to capture a moment in time that celebrates or loves. So why would we make such a bold claim? 1. Dimas listened and acted upon all our requests for this photo-shoot. 2. He did not try to upsell us in any way. 3. His knowledge of many private locations and iti was perfect for such photography. 4. He knew exactly how to use the available light for these locations for its best advantage. 5. His command of English was good and his directions were clear and pleasant. 6. He charged what he quoted 7. He delivered our images before the promised date. However, the artistic quality contained in so many of his images was truly wonderful. We wanted better than selfies or a fellow resort guest taking happy-snaps! We are a couple that were looking for maturity in the creative aspects of this shoot. This quality was born out in the locations, the angles, the suggested poses and expressions, etc all the while the good banter put us totally at ease. I want to say a huge thank you to Dimas for his excellent work, mood, and emotions during our time together (or should I say vacation). Time just flew by, we spent the whole day in his wonderful company. The places he chose were simply fantastic, and even more interesting in photos than in real life. It was just incredible.I hasten to share my memories and impressions of working with Dimas. Before choosing a photographer, I looked through a very large number of works, and as soon as I saw his works, I had no doubts about who I wanted to work with. What made me stop at his photos back then? We booked Dimas for a half-day shooting and we just loved the final results. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, but Dimas suggested the best locations to avoid crowds and get clear waters in the background. Dimas has a pretty great understanding of the best shoot locations across the island and he can suggest based on preferences real quick. Our photos turned out SO beautiful! We did a couples shoot with Dimas for our wedding anniversary, and he was so much fun and so easy to work with. The package included hair and makeup, which was super helpful because I couldn't possibly have managed to do makeup that would last in the humid Thailand weather. We did a full day engagement shoot with Dimas while we were there for 3 days and had such a great time. Not only did he get amazing shots of us, but he showed us so many beautiful spots around the island that we otherwise may not have found. We found Dimas through Google and he had a spot left on our holiday last August. He was kind and helpful with the ideas for the shoot. Our long-awaited vacation in Samui finally happened, along with an equally anticipated photoshoot with the remarkable photographer Dimas Frolov! Seeing Dimas's portfolio, it's impossible not to be impressed and not to want such magnificent photos)) Besides the obvious – the incredible beauty of the photos, I want to highlight how comfortable it was to communicate with Dimas before the shoot – always available, sociable, ready to help with advice. When the weather turned bad on the scheduled day for the shoot, we were pleasantly surprised that Dimas himself suggested postponing the session, so we didn't have to worry about the weather conditions. The photoshoot itself flew by, we simply had a great time, walking, laughing, and feeling absolutely relaxed. Communication with him was seamless, easy, and fast. He is very honest when coming to choosing the right location. I told him what I was looking for- and he recommended the PERFECT 2 locations for our needs. My husband and I both had never done a photoshoot, so we were very nervous.
