About me
I'm Dimas (originally Dmytro), a professional photographer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I've been working in photography since 2010, and since April 2025 my home base has been Lisbon, with projects across Portugal and Europe.
My work is built around real connection and clean, natural-looking color. I help people feel comfortable in front of the camera by giving clear direction and simple prompts, so the session feels relaxed and the images feel alive.

Brief Biography
My story started in Dnipro, Ukraine. I was born in 1980, earned a Master's degree in Energy Engineering, and worked as an engineer in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for industrial projects.
Photography began for me as curiosity, and then it took over. I bought my first small digital camera in 2005, moved to a DSLR with interchangeable lenses by 2007, and soon realized that photographing people, portraits, couples, weddings, and real moments was the direction I wanted to grow in.
In 2010, I left engineering and became a full-time freelance photographer. In 2014, a planned 2-month family trip to Koh Samui, Thailand turned into more than 10 years of living and working there. In 2025, I relocated to Portugal, and Lisbon became my base for photographing families, couples, weddings, events, and small brands.
